Desserts, Cakes and Bakes

Everyone loves Dessert, and I'm especially partial to something fairly straight-forward and easy to make. Which is why most of the desserts you'll find on my page are basic cakes and bakes that don't require anything complicated.

Old school classics like my Gran's Fruit Loaf recipe - lasts ages (if you don't eat it all first) and perfect served with a cup of tea.

Traditional Fruit Scones with a handy tip on folding over the dough - resulting in the most perfect split down the middle. Perfect for an even spread of cream and jam or straight up salty butter!

Quick and easy 'throw-it-together' options like my Eton Mess. This was in regular rotation last year for a tasty homemade dessert.

And the odd 'wow-factor' sweet treat like my Lime and Passionfruit Cheesecake. A great make-ahead dessert for dinner parties and Christmas.
