A crowd pleaser for the whole family - this Creamy Tomato Beef Pasta can be ready in 30 minutes with minimal ingredients and even less effort! It's been a favourite meal for my family for decades, I hope you love it!
Slice 250 g mushrooms and chop 1 brown onion - add to a pan with 2 tablespoon olive oil and begin to soften (approx 10 minutes)
Finely chop 2 garlic cloves and add to pan after mushrooms and onions are soft, cook for 2 minutes
Add 500 g beef mince, break up with a wooden spoon and allow to brown off (5 minutes)
Open cans of 295 g condensed mushroom soup and 295 g condensed tomato soup and add to pan to simmer on low for 10 minutes
Grate 150 g cheddar cheese, then add grated cheese to pan and simmer on low until all cheese has melted
Cook 360 g pasta in salted water until al dente, drain, and add to pan with sauce
Season further as desired and serve topped with parmesan and fresh chopped parsley
Notes
I personally believe the hob method is slightly tastier (as you can brown off the beef, which adds flavour). But if you're short on time then you can try the Slow Cooker Method below:
Add beef mince, onion, mushrooms, garlic, soup tins and tins rinsed out with water to the slow cooker
Stir to combine and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or LOW for 7-8 hours
Remove the lid, stir, and cook for another 30-60 mins on HIGH (this will help to thicken the sauce)
Add grated cheese and cooked pasta then serve with some fresh parsley and parmesan to garnish (optional)
